You control lights

Control the intensity and colour of your light. Use the existing wall switches, but also – thanks to Z-Wave – also via remote control, smartphone or sensor-controlled automation.
The compact radio module is placed in a wall box right behind the normal switch. The switch is no longer directly connected to the load but acts as input device for the FIBARO insert that is controlling the load. The switch only sends control signal to the insert which controls the load then again. The solution works with all switch design. You can use a momentary or a toggle switch. It’s recommended to use wall boxes with 65mm depth. But smaller boxes with only 45mm depth can be used also if there is enough space behind the switch. The available space depends on the size of the traditional switch, the dimensions of the wall box and the amount of additional cabling placed in this box.

Yes it works great with Samsung SmartThings. There are 3rd party drivers for this that i used with Samsung Smartthings before switching to Home Assistant (which also supports Fibaro products).
Yes it can. I’ve done just this for a couple of lights. I bought a new rose which is slighly deeper than normal to accomodate the Fibaro switch. It works great and you get a neutral line as well in the ceiling wiring.
The Fibaro is wired to both turn off/on remotely and turn on/off at the switch. Either can be used to turn the switch on/off/on. I would advise looking at the wiring diagrams on the Fibaro web site to ensure compatability with your intended fit.
